Global Music Awards Recognition
Kariz Band’s album Gallop was recognized by the Global Music Awards in March 2024 as a Silver Medal Winner for Outstanding Achievement in the composer and instrumentalist categories. This international recognition highlights Kariz Band’s contemporary approach to Persian ethnic music, world fusion, and instrumental storytelling.
About.
Kariz Music Band
Kariz is our image of music: songs from the depths of the earth, beyond borders, time, and place.
Kariz is an endless journey that began in 2013 with a heritage of Persian ethnic music. The band continues to experience, learn, and grow through the coexistence of distinct musical instruments while exploring different cultures.
Our wish is for music to keep moving: to run like a river, cross borders and names, find its own way, and continue changing and growing as life does.
